Grrrrrrrr . . .

Okay, who in their right mind would send me this link?

It's not thought provoking. It's an old, tired, and annoying argument. "You wanna be an educated, successful woman? Be my guest. But don't act surprised when you don't get a man. In fact, the more education you get, the less likely you'll be able to get one. You wanna intimidate them all away? Men want someone who doesn't make them feel insecure."

1. If the thought of being with me makes you feel insecure, I don't want you anyway. Go ahead and scurry away from the blinding beams of intimidation that emanate from me. You'd be doing us both a favor.

2. Trying to get a reaction out of a woman by presenting her with scary "statistics" and/or by wondering if (hoping that?) she'll see herself in it all does not endear you to her. It makes her grab a hammer and gives her all the strength she needs to wallop that nail down into the coffin of your delusions of grandeur.

3. My existence defies statistics. So does God. That's enough.

4. Cállate. (Sounds meaner in English.)

That is all.

you should send a reply link on "how to make a successful woman think you are an imbecile". of course, his link would have work had it been titled "too successful for an AVERAGE mate". we aren't average girls. we aren't satisfied with average, we don't live everagely, and we could never be appeased with an average person as a mate. it doesn't make you "lucky" that anyone would put up with you, it makes them "lucky" that you would even consider them. that article resonated with the link-sender because they've been rejected by a successful woman.

i like callate better than shutup.

proverbs 31 outlines all of the really cool qualities for an amazing woman to have. a man who reads that passage, then looks at a successful woman, and doesn't see how she would be an amazing wife and mother is an absolute idiot.

my fiance worked her butt off to get through college - always 2, sometimes 3 jobs - just to make it happen. she would "rise up early" and prepare for the day. that's a blessing, and not something by which one should be intimidated.

any guy who looks at a successful woman and is intimidated isn't interested in a wife who has taken her god-given ability to the max in EVERY aspect, including her secular career. rather, he's interested in someone who is as emotionally weak and puny as he, so he can control and continue the dreadful misogynistic tradition and misinterpretation of modern christiandom. don't get me started.

I am dying laughing here, although I know it isn't really funny but, girl, when you get riled up, you just lay it down, hm? *grin*
That is all I have to say because "b" put it best! Don't you ever "settle", Chantell. I've seen too many girls who have, only to regret it.
