I've fallen in love with you, Orange Cream Swirl Shake. I don't know what it is about you. Is it your soothing creamy texture? Your mysterious vanilla swirl within the tangy orange? Is it that your Dreamsicle-esque savor brings me back to the days when I was younger and carefree and shamelessly licked left-over Dreamsicle stickiness off from around my lips? What have you done to me, Orange Cream Swirl Shake? In days when I have professed my love for other cold, creamy concoctions—Caramel Frappucinos, Iced Chai Tea Lattes—you singlehandedly burrowed your way into my heart in the space of one slurp.
What does this mean, Orange Cream Swirl Shake? And I don't even like orange that much. You tantalizingly beckoned to me from off of the Arby's poster which boasted your novelty. There was something in that first glance that made me feel you were the one. But when I held you in my hands and swallowed that first slurp, I was assured, and you erased all doubt.

But where do you get it? It sounds wonderful.
Arby's. It's a fast food place, not too high class, I know, but the Orange Cream Swirl Shake is divine. Oh, and so is their Jamocha milkshake. :-)
yeah jamochas rock, but it sounds like i need to try o.c.s.s......
ya know I come back and look at your post and it has Arby's written all over it. I am obviously not that observant! We have Arby's here but I avoid it, it's not exactly my favorite place -- but I might have to go for Orange Cream...mmmm
haha -- I thought of you last night! We went out to eat and passed an Arby's! I thought about going and trying the Cream Swirl -- before the start of my diet (eek!) but I instead went to Friendly's. Next time! :)
You know, in retrospect, now I feel kinda weird about my poetic endorsement of the Orange Cream Swirl Shake. Why?
Well, when I got it, I had just finished taking a walk around the park and playing volleyball. I was craving something cold yet sweet, and the shake was just the thing to hit the spot. Perhaps the reason I became so enamoured of it was not because it was really all that great, but because it adequately satisfied a craving.
Now, I'm afraid that someone will try it based on my little . . . ode and think, "Good Lord, what was she talking about? This shake is sick!" and then they will be annoyed because they wasted their money and think I have warped tastebuds or something. Then the next time I praise something people will be like, "Yeah, right. She SO exaggerates." lol.
on the contrare my dear - I think it's a craze hitting fast food eateries & restaurants everywhere -Applebee's is sporting a "dreamsicle" desert that's orange & creamy - Just give me chocolate though :0)
