I can't really reveal too much about how . . . astounding, bordering on bewildering it was to open up a fortune cookie tonight and to read this fortune without nearly choking on my proverbial foot. So, I'll just leave it as is. A short stranger (as opposed to a more cliche, tall, dark and handsome one)? maybe he isn't short in stature but short as in he won't be a stranger long? hmmm?
No . . . the reason why this particular fortune was so coincidental is because the person in this . . . situation (?) is short of stature.
