Wellll, a few years ago, I was listening to a broadcast on Focus on the Family and Dr. Dobson had a relationship expert on, on this particular day. He (the expert) was talking specifically of the ways in which females and males communicate and express themselves. He said that they had put preschool-age children into two groups, one for boys and one for girls. The little girls were just chatting away, talking animatedly, while the little boys were making car noises: engine gunning, shifting gears and so on, gun noises, exploding noises, and so on. He went on to say that this does continue on into adulthood for many men. *smile* So it looks like there is some credence to it, Chantell!
HAHA I never thought about that! But I did recently notice how a guy's face just lit up when I used a sound effect when talking to him! Maybe we girls should incorporate some of their language into ours so that we can get through! :)

It must be a hold-over from their childhood! lol
That was one of the theories I had . . . but I didn't have any proof.

Oh, but I don't remember him giving a reason for this behavior. *feeble grin*
Because it's fun.
